BIOGRAPHY

Born in Ambala, Sanjeev grew up in northern Indian cities and completed his diploma in hotel management in 1984 from the Institute of Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition, Pusa, New Delhi, then worked at multiple hotels in Varanasi and New Zealand until he became the Youngest Executive Chef in Centaur Hotel of Mumbai in 1992, he also married Alyona Kapoor that year, he is the first chef in the world to own a 24X7 food and Lifestyle channel, FOOD FOOD, He won a Padma Shri in 2017 and has a Guinness world record for cooking 918 kgs of khichdi, and was a judge for master chef India for season 3 and 4.
